Most furnace repairs fall between $100 and $1000, depending on the problem. Ignitor, flame sensor and thermostat fixes are usually on the lower end. Blower motors, control boards and gas valves cost more. Brighton Air Corp gives you a free estimate before any work begins, so you always know the cost upfront.
Yes. We respond 24/7, including nights, weekends and holidays, across Union, Somerset & Middlesex County. For non-emergency calls, we usually schedule same-day or next-day visits. Call 973-258-1500 to check availability.
Common causes include a clogged air filter, a dirty flame sensor, a failed ignitor, or a thermostat set to "fan on" instead of "auto." Check the filter and thermostat first. If that doesn't fix it, call us. We can often narrow it down over the phone.
A good rule of thumb: if your furnace is more than 15 years old and the repair would cost more than half the price of a new one, replacement is usually the better investment. Our technicians give honest recommendations and never push a replacement when a repair makes more sense.
A red tag means a technician or the gas utility found a safety hazard, such as a cracked heat exchanger or a gas leak, and the furnace should not be used. We can inspect it, explain your options, and quickly replace it if it can't be safely repaired.
Yes. Brighton Air Corp offers special financing for qualifying customers on new system installations. Ask about current offers and available rebates when you call.
